Thanks for answering my question. That was a very clear way to explain what really matters and how people identify characters through more than simple labels.

If you would like another question:
I’m about 4/5 through my 100k estimated story length and about 1/2 of the way through my story. I don’t feel my scenes are particularly long, in fact I’d been wondering if they were a little short. I’ve been using the word count to help motivate me, and am not sure what to do when I exceed it but still have much to write.
